Expanding the search area

I've started to expand my cache search area as the nearby caches are being ticked off

This morning on my way into town I decided to stop by a cache in a very prominent position of town, the entrance statement in fact

I have been driving past this all week and today was the day to knock it off

I wandered around reading the information plaques and taking photos then followed GPSr to GZ 

An easy find after deciphering the hint

Signed the log and replaced cache

Next destination was a trig point I had seen from town but which was not listed on the GCA trig point map

I needed to check this anomaly out

This TP is close to the town site and highly visible 

I wanted to be a bit discreet so I found a rough track which skirted around the side of the hill to the back where I could park my car out of sight of townspeople

I made a short walk up to the top of the hill to the TP

There is a great view from here over the townsite

This was all the time that I had to do my caching today
