WA Goes Big 2018 Saturday 13th October
This morning it was up early and set off to Dunsborough arriving at 9am
I met up with Mistraluna so we could go out together and grab the Arrow challenge caches
We had a pleasant morning driving around the Yallingup Hills finding the caches
The one cache out of place is the only one I had checked to see if I had qualified to log before heading off to find
Once I get time to log finds on all the caches the position will revert to the original listed coords
That might be a while away as I am busy doing other chores with work and home at the moment
Once we had found and logged all the arrow caches it was time for lunch and once again we stopped at Peko Peko, just grabbing a takeaway as Mistraluna had to perform her volunteering role at the event
While here at the event site we found a Wherigo which had been placed for the event and another traditional
I joined up with another cacher, Shane - Sharkcaver and we went off to Eagle Bay to find some new caches which had been published earlier in the day
We had a pleasant afternoon driving around enjoying the views and seeing many whales in Geographe Bay from the Meelup lookout
The battery on my phone was just about flat so I found a power point and was able to put some charge into it while we had our dinner
After the dinner there was a presentation of some prizes and then it was time to head home once again
I greatly enjoyed a very busy day of caching, meeting new people and catching up with old cache friends
All in all a great day and the best event so far
