I was heading out to grab some more caches in Cossack this morning, I only got 100m up the road and the on call phone rang
Off to a call out so the caches will have to wait
Later in the morning I finally made it to Cossack and went to my first destination
"Cozzie Time" GCC994
I had solved the multi the previous evening and just needed to follow the GPS to the corrected coords
After a half hour of going around in circles, searching all the likely spots, getting hotter and hotter by the minute, I decided I needed to double check my coords
I went back to sit in the cool air-conditioning of the car and went through the steps again
Sure enough I had mad a mathematical error, I adjusted my coords and set off for an easy find
I took the container back to the coolth of the car to sign the log and dropped in a TB I had been carrying around with me
Next on the list was going to involve a lot more work, so with my waterbottle, note pad, pen and caching app I set off walking around the townsite collecting info from various signs
Cossack Heritage Walk Trail GC6A6YK
This was a time consuming job and not any easier due to the baking heat but I wandered around picking up the info needed from each sign
When I had all the numbers I sat in the shade and entered the coords into the app
I short distance away to GZ but I needed to take the car to help stay cool
At a spot not far from GZ I parked and set off to grab the cache
My GPS was sending me round in circles and would not steady down to a fixed point
I went back to the car to cool down, I decided to try Sat view and saw exactly where I needed to be and set off again to search for the cache
This time it was a quick find in the obvious spot which I had walked over 3 times, Ha Ha
I sat on a rock to log the find, the rock was so hot I nearly cooked my bum, Ha Ha
Once the cache was back in its hidey spot I realized it was way past lunch time so headed back to the cool office to grab myself some lunch
