Saturday 6 October
Today is my last day in Wickham/Roebourne
I have had a busy morning doing some housekeeping getting ready for my flight home tomorrow morning
First was a load of washing and while I was waiting for that I ducked out to grab a few caches around town I had not got to yet
Emma's Sanctuary GC3QH5Z
A bit of construction work going on here at the moment
The church is looking good so far, would be good to see it finished
Cache was a quick find as it was sitting in plain view
I placed it under a rock to help hide it a bit better
Next one was not far away
Sir John Septimus Roe GC4ETEN
Spent a bit of time looking in the wrong place until I realised I had not navigated close enough to GZ
After a short search in the correct area thanks to the hint I soon had the container in hand and signed the log
The old prison was all closed up today, maybe I can get to look around on my next visit to town
The next one on the list was a bit more of a drive
The Road to Roebourne GC48QP5
There is a new shelter and information boards here
The cache was an easy find in the second spot I looked thanks to the hint
Getting to the container was a challenge but I was able to retrieve and replace it without any dramas
Some of the passing traffic may have been curious as to what I was up to, Ha Ha
I picked up some trash while here and placed in the bin a short distance away, sigh !
The large bill board in the cache page background has also changed
Time now to go grab my washing out of the machine and hang it up to dry then have some lunch
So that pretty much finishes up this Geocaching adventure
If you have had time to read my blog, I hope you have enjoyed it
Until next time, 'Go caching'
